How was your Well Polished franchise impacted your life?
Well Polished has had a brilliant impact on my life! I love being my own boss, but having a team of people I can rely on for support when needed. Being a Well Polished franchisee means I can work where & when I like, it gives me the freedom with how I work. There is no limit with how much I can earn, so each month I can have a pay rise, which doesn’t happen in most other jobs! I have even been abroad and took Well Polished with me, you really can work anywhere!

Before you started your franchise, what were your biggest concerns and how do you feel about those concerns now?
When I first launched, I was only 20 and had no experience in this sector at all so I thought I may not be capable, having this franchise has made me realise that if you want something and you work hard you will achieve it! I was worried that I wouldn’t get any clients, but I soon realised that this wouldn’t be an issue! I also questioned whether it would pay me a salary, but if you work hard and are consistent with what you do, you can earn what you like & more each month!

How was your Well Polished franchise impacted your life?
Since taking on the first franchise in January 2020, before covid shown its face! Even through the really tough, uncertain times the head office team were always there to provide advise & support. to ensure we all got through that patch. With what could never have been predicted was happening. So having only known those tough times, it could only go one way. After a lot of effort the franchise is now a fully blown business (rather than a side hustle) and is going from strength to strength. To the point where I took on another territory in 2022, as it was too good of an opportunity to miss. Now focusing full time on WP, the plan is to keep growing and enjoy the benefits of a flexible business with great prospects.
Would you recommend Well Polished to a friend?
Yes 100% I have already discussed the idea with some of my cleaner team and am looking at have them help me to learn the ropes, so they can see if it is something they want to pursue.
Before you started your franchise, what were your biggest concerns and how do you feel about those concerns now?
Not knowing anything about cleaning, the industry, recruiting or managing a team. As I’ve been self employed for 10 years, it was only about me. Now I have a team of around 40 cleaners across both franchises, which i have recruited personally and probably one of the bits i enjoy most of the role. Plus the day to day involvement is great, having a laugh along the way but making sure we’ve got a professional team to serve the clients is really rewarding.

What attracted you to Well Polished?
How was your Well Polished franchise impacted your life?
It’s made a huge difference to my life, I tend to do most of my work in the mornings, then just keep my eye on the phone for the rest of the day. It means I can take my son to work everyday, go out for afternoon walks and sometimes I even work at the zoo in the afternoon! It’s made a huge difference to my income as well, which in turn has given me the opportunity to go on holiday again and buy things I just couldn’t afford before. As a single mum, affording a house, car and everything else was always a struggle. Now its becoming easier each month as I grow the business.

I would 100% recommend a Well Polished franchise to friends, I have already recommended to a few!
Before you started your franchise, what were your biggest concerns and how do you feel about those concerns now?
I didn’t really have any big concerns, as I’d already spent a few years working for head office so I knew the potential. I suppose I did have a slight concern that I wouldn’t be able to grow it as much as I’d like, with the financial struggles around the country. But I can thankfully say that I no longer have those concerns now, as my business has grown steadily over the past year and at the time of writing this, I have had one of my most successful months!

The work life balance has been great! Since buying into the franchise, I have had a baby. If I was still in my old job as a cleaner, I would have had to give up my cleans which was my income. So everything happened at the right time for me!
Would you recommend Well Polished to a friend?
Absolutely!!! The staff at head office are a massive help! Nothing is ever to much of a problem to help with, they are welcoming and make you feel like part of the Well Polished family.
Before you started your franchise, what were your biggest concerns and how do you feel about those concerns now?
My biggest concern was not earning enough money – I’d still like to earn more but everyone would not matter how much they earn! Especially with getting a loan of £15,000- that was very daunting! But I would not change it now and if I knew then what I know now I’d do it all over again!
